Using a grid as a template, the rigidity of a static pattern is changed through layers of intersecting lines superimposed upon itself; creating movement and a sense of depth beyond its two dimensional surface. The colours used for this commission reference the Adidas Deerupt collection.

The Mobile Forms open and cut into a volume of space. By adopting the pattern from ‘composition notebooks’, it empties and disrupts the composition of a viewer’s perspective. The interaction between the movement of the mobile and its surroundings creates a visual rhythm to be observed.
